Founded in 2015, Flower Handicrafts is one of the few dedicated houses of wooden Islamic wall art and Mysore Rosewood Inlay, where every creation is made by hand on premium rosewood. Selecting the Wood
It starts with the finest raw wood, cut into planks of precise thickness and length. These planks are carefully seasoned, ensuring the texture responds beautifully to carving tools.
Designing the Artwork
Designs are first hand-drawn by artists. From there, they are traced and transferred onto butter paper, acrylic sheets, or directly onto the wood itself.
Carving & Inlay
The heart of the work lies in carving — where patience and precision meet. Skilled artisans engrave each detail by hand, sometimes adding inlay work with contrasting materials to bring out depth and richness.
Polishing & Finishing
Once carving is complete, each piece is scrubbed, seasoned again, and finished with protective coatings. Depending on the design, the finish may be natural wax, subtle polish, or deep varnish — all chosen to enhance the wood’s beauty and longevity.
